Warehouse Wi-Fi Upgrade: Cabling at New Heights!
When your warehouse is the size of a small village and stacked sky-high with boxes, getting reliable Wi-Fi coverage isn’t just a nice-to-have — it’s essential. That’s where we came in.
Our team recently completed a full data cabling install in this massive warehouse space, designed to support a robust new wireless setup across the entire site. The mission: give every barcode scanner, stock system, and staff member the signal strength they deserve — even at the far end of aisle 47.
The job involved:
- Getting up high (yes, really high) to run cable through the steelwork and lighting trusses
- Installing high-level data cabinets and structured cabling for access points
- A bit of tidy trunking and basket work — plus some excellent cobweb dodging
We used Cat6 cabling throughout for speed and futureproofing, with a healthy splash of purple to keep things stylish (and easy to trace). Each run was tested and terminated neatly into new wall-mounted enclosures, ready for the Wi-Fi gear to be connected.
Here’s a sneak peek behind the scenes:

Neatly routed and clipped — the way it should be

This install will keep things moving smoothly on the warehouse floor — no more signal dropouts when staff are halfway through a pick list, and better performance for all connected systems.
